Choc-almond snack bar

I am always on the hunt for muesli bar alternatives, as most commercial brands are full of wheat and dried fruit (big FODMAPs no-nos!) as well as other unnecessary nasties. I stumbled across this recipe recently on Pinterest and made it yesterday. It is definitely more of a desert than an every day snack, but is delicious nonetheless and most importantly is gluten, dairy and dried fruit free! Give it a try, it’s super easy. Here’s the recipe:

    • Hi Julie! It’s such a small amount that I didn’t bother substituting. Since then I have become a bit more strict on myself and I would now use rice malt syrup or pure maple syrup instead 🙂
